I always have a rescue rope on my boat, this weekend I learned a few things about it. One, you can throw it farther if it is wet. I have a hundred foot, 900 lb strength rope but unless it is wet I can only throw it about 50 feet. Another thing I learned is, when it is wet, dont toss it in the dryer at home (no heat) to dry it out. Takes a few minutes to get untangled if you do.
Hello I am 65 years old. Two years ago, when COVID hit, I knew that I have to get healthy or possibly die from that dreaded illness. I chose to change my lifestyle by loosing weight and getting active by kayaking, almost obsessively. Here is mostly my story about my upcoming trip down the Ohio River, in May of 2022.
